Halfway reflection

1. Some of the behaviors I have used to keep up with this course come from time management. I have always been able to manage my time fairly well, because as a reporter, you have to be on the job almost 24/7. Since this class is online, it has taught me to manage an hour or two when needed to complete assignments. 2. I have never felt like much of an entrepreneur, and as this class does not require too much work ethic, it still requires time. There were times when I felt like giving up on an assignment, or even in other aspects like working for the Alligator and taking 17 credits. However, there will always be bad days, and this course has taught me that successful entrepreneurs and even just inspirational people don't give up when it gets hard, they keep going and manage to make themselves even better. I feel like my experience with this being my second semester as a student in college and taking on a little too much is definitely teaching me a lot, but it is also preparing me to become better in my studies and endeavors after college. 3. Three tips I would give a student coming into this class regarding tenacity would be to not give up even when they wanted to, be creative and don't just half-way complete things for the class, and apply what you learn outside the classroom. Developing these are hard in which you may have one or two down pretty well, but being able to balance everything while having other responsibilities is hard. But if you apply these in everyday life and you use them for other aspects and not just this class as well, it will help you become successful in the future too.

  1. Anna,

I like your honesty. This class is not labor intensive, but it does take some time in order to do the necessary work. I think one of the best things that someone can take from this class is knowing there will be days where you do not feel like doing the work, but it still needs to be done. And it is best not to do just the bare minimum to get a good grade. There are some good things that Prof. Chris is sharing in the context of entrepreneurship that apply to life period.
