Figuring out the Buyer
Segment: Out of state students from California/anyone who had relations to California
When conducting interviews, I had multiple successes and failures. I learned that most people knew about the California housing crisis, but didn't know if the solution I presented was adequate because of previous failed attempts. Some people thought it was amazing while others felt like there was no hope for a solution at this point. Among interviewing my third candidate, I interviewed another person because I felt like the person did not match the audience I was going for. The unmet need wasn't neccesarily there for people but the fact that they had experienced what homelessness does to people in California was a huge factor in talking about my plans.
Hi Anna,
ReplyDeleteI think your identification of obstacles is meaningful, especially when they came from a third party (in this case, your interviewees). I think getting over the hopelessness of the issue is a large barrier, but one you can overcome with your ideas and effort.
